First stage for young rock stars

BUDDING rock stars looking to start out in music can head to the MacRobert Centre.
Guitar player and drummer Chris Fleming (20) has set up a rock school for 6-18-year-olds with the aim of getting them into bands.
Chris told the Observer: “I have been playing for eight years and thought it would be a good idea to pass on my skills and do my bit to get children off the streets. I play guitar, bass and the drums.”
Lessons, priced £10, can be booked with Chris on 07719 846690. Sessions are held on Wednesdays from 5.30-7.30pm.
