THIS week is the last chance to visit the exhibition of drawings by Leonardo da Vinci at the Stirling Smith as it draws to a close this coming Sunday.
Ten of the Royal Collection’s finest drawings by the Renaissance master are currently on show in the city.
The exhibition has already been hailed as a huge success, with over 20,000 people having visited since its initial opening back in August.
The Stirling Smith was given the unique opportunity to be the sole Scottish venue for the exhibition, to celebrate the 60th birthday of HRH The Prince of Wales.
Stirling Smith curator, Dr Elspeth King said: “To be able to exhibit some of the Royal Collection’s treasures has been marvellous and the number of people attending the exhibition and talks has been well above our initial estimates.
“We have had fantastic support from the people of Stirling and further afield, with visitors from all over Europe and beyond.”
