The Leads releasing EP this month

DAVID, Dave, Gaz, Stuart and John hail from Denny, and come together as The Leads.

For a group that formed in 2006 claiming to be complete novices in the music business they've done alright as this month they release their EP, “Becher's Brook: A Runner's Guide”.

The lads' debut record reflects the band’s up-beat attitude with Brown's distinctive Scottish accent coming through.

This Friday (November 27) The Leads are taking over Cape in Stirling to celebrate the EP release. Joining the band playing live will be The Mixups, Johnny and The Giros and Selective Service and those buying a ticket on the door get a free copy of the record.

December and January are looking busy for the Denny lads as they embark on a Scottish tour in support of Becher's Brook, but on December 3 they are back in Stirling at the Tolbooth alongside Jack Butler, Miniature Dinosaurs, Jocasta Sleeps and Mitchell Museum for Reloaded Vs Air 3.

The band also feature on the recent Tolbooth Sessions CD, where they recorded a track with Stevie Fleming of Cosmic Rough Riders. Reviews have been going well and The Leads' track in particular has been hailed as one that should be hitting Radio 1 playlists.
