Local rock acts that may make good stocking fillers,

FOLLOWING on from last week's indie stocking filler picks, this week we have some suggestions of local rock acts for you to get your and your love ones’ teeth into this Christmas.

The Colony released their debut EP “el-Estrago” to a packed crowd at the Tolbooth on Saturday night. This band are also still looking for a new singer.

Alloa quartet Must Be Something released a great three-track EP this year and even filmed some videos for the tracks while they were at it. It is available through download stores.

Final Silence released their debut EP “Past Remains”. With five tracks of metal, it is an excellent gift for those who like the heavier side of musical life.

Stirling's own Burn The Sunset have on offer their “As Cowards Cry Reason” EP. For your fashion conscious friends BTS also have some t-shirts.
