Book launch in Killearn

THE latest edition of “The Parish of Killearn” is being launched next week.

The popular book, now in its third edition, is being launched by the Killearn Trust at a special event at Killearn Primary School next Thursday, from 7.30-9.30pm.

In this latest edition, the story of how the village developed from a small isolated settlement to a commuting village for Glasgow, is told.

As well as being longer, it also includes new and updated material from many local contributors.

Those attending the special launch night, and those pre-ordering, will also be able to take advantage of a special discount to pick up the book for £18, rather than the usual price of £20.
