Free concert by Dunblane Cathedral bell ringers

DUNBLANE Cathedral Handbell Ringers are inviting everyone to a free lunchtime concert from noon on Saturday June 6 in the cathedral.

It will feature the combined forces of the ringers and the Flentrop Organ performed by the cathedral’s organ scholar Steven McIntyre.

The concert will also feature Norwegian handbell quartet Ensemble Markus from Oslo.

The 45-minute programme will showcase arrangements and original compositions for handbells and organ together.

Music will include sparkling arrangements of well-known sacred and secular music, as well as original works for handbells and organ by US composers.
