TALENTED dancers from the Trossachs and West Stirlingshire will be tapping their toes in style at the MacRobert Arts Centre next weekend.
Two hundred and fifty pupils from Dance Connection – from tiny tots to teens – will be on stage on Friday and Saturday, June 5 and 6, in their showcase “Ta-Da!”.
Under the direction of school principal Carla Duggan the pupils have been rehearsing hard for months.
After the last show pupil Barry Drummond was accepted for the Royal Ballet Upper School, London. This year he was awarded a commendation after reaching the finals of Young British Dancer of the Year.
Current Dance Connection pupils Anastarsia and Amarillia Moffat were awarded places on the Scottish Ballet associate programme and teaching assistant Eilidh McRae has been offered two places on teaching programmes in London and Edinburgh.
Tickets for “Ta-Da!” are on sale at the MacRobert Box Office on 01786 466666.
