A SUMMERFEST at Dunblane Cathedral is promising music and fun activities for all ages.
The event takes place in and around the cathedral from 10am until 4pm on Saturday June 13.
The fundraising event for the cathedral will also have an all day cafe serving morning coffees, lunches and afternoon teas.
Fifteen-minute talks will be held telling some of the stories behind various parts of the historic building, from the stained galss windows, the Drummond Sisters, the misericords and pulpit to the woodcarvings, the building of the Flentrop organ, the building before and after the restoration and the cathedral’s heraldry.
Cathedral groups and organisations will run a variety of stalls, games and activities in and around the cathedral and adjacent halls.
Organisers said: “This will be a fun and enjoyable day for the whole family and all visitors will be made most welcome to this event.”
