A NEW show from Stirling University’s online radio station is promising to provide a platform for the best new music.
The “New Music Show” on Air3 gets underway tomorrow (Thursday) with a set from We Hung Your Leader.
Other acts lined up for acoustic performances in the coming weeks include Broken Records, combining European folk with modern Scottish alternative music, indie rockers The Xcerts, who are on the verge of releasing their debut album, and electronic duo Sixpeopleaway.
Station manager Ally McCrae said: “We are passionate about the bands that we get on. We are privileged to host some of these artists in our wee studio.
“Given the shoestring budget we work on, it’s great that the bands come up for the whole two-hour show and give our listeners and presenters some really special performances.”
The show also features interviews with international artists, gig listings, artist spotlights and insight from industry insiders.
It runs every Thursday from 4-6pm at www.air3live.com.
