A FORMER Stirling man is making his name in the world of Bluegrass music.
Innes Campbell, an ex-pupil of St Modan’s High School who now lives in Australia, gained first place with the Flatpick guitar at the National Bluegrass championships.
Mr Campbell still has family living in Stirling.
He now lives in Caloundra, Queensland where he works as a GP.
His wife, Sally, is Australian and they have two boys aged six and three.
Mr Campbell is part of a musical family, with brother, Rory, and sister Marianne, who have enjoyed recognition in the folk world – in the successful group “Deaf Shepherd” and Rory also in “Old Blind Dogs” until recently.
Mr Campbell recently became an Australian citizen.
