THE Shermans are currently on tour to promote the release of their new single which is called “Venom”.
You can listen to the Stirling-based band on Central FM at 6pm on April 6 and, at 7pm on Friday, April 10, they will launch “Venom” at The Fubar.
Two days later, they are headlining a fantastic Easter Sunday bill at McQ’s Live in Bannockburn.
For over-18s only, the show starts at 7pm and features The Shermans, The Black Arrows, The Leads, David Bateman and The Satriales.
Tickets, priced £6, are available from McQ’s or from the bands themselves.
The Shermans are made up of Shaun on vocals, Kenny on bass, Graham on lead guitar, Nick on rhythm guitar and David on drums.
On April 13, their fans will be flocking to the Thistles Centre as they will be doing a promotional in-store gig at HMV for the single.
At the end of the month’s “Venom” tour, the band have dates to perform in Holland and Germany.
McQ’s attracts music lovers of all ages and fans of 70s and 80s sounds will enjoy the McQ’s Nitespot Revival on Saturday, May 2.
It will feature DJs Nikki Docherty, Fraser Hotchkiss, John Pryde and Kenny Ritchie.
It runs from 9.30pm to 10.30pm in the lounge and then 10.30pm top 2am in the disco. Tickets are £10. Call McQ’s on 812056 to reserve your tickets and pick them up later.
