Alto Elite tops bill at McQ’s

ANOTHER brilliant line-up of talent has been gathered in the McQ’s Live series in Bannockburn on Friday, May 22.

Topping the bill is Scotland’s most-talked-about band right now, Alto Elite, who are tipped for great things.

Hailing from Carnoustie, they have recently sold out venues such as King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut and the Doghouse in Dundee.

They have backed The View, Kaiser Chiefs, The Hoosiers and Scouting For Girls.

Another new name for McQ’s is The Fangs, very unlucky not to win the T4 Orange unsigned act award six months ago.

Full of energy with a striking blonde lead singer, they have recently released a new single.

It’s unusual that The Shermans aren’t the headline act but that only shows the quality of Alto Elite and The Fangs.

This Stirling band’s new single “Venom” hit the charts at number seven and they are on a high at the moment.

Also on the bill is Brian Cattigan, now back performing his catchy tunes with his distinctive strong voice after his recent split with The Capulets.

John McQue is also expecting a fix up a fifth act for the night. Watch this space.

McQ’s Live starts at 7pm on Friday, May 22, and tickets are priced £6. Book yours by phoning 01786 812256 or 812056.
