JAZZ fans flocked to Blair Drummond Safari Park last weekend to enjoy a musical evening and help charity.
Fat Sam’s Band played an open-air concert watched by more than 300 people on Saturday.
And more than £5000 was raised, which will be shared between the nearby Camphill Trust and a charity offering school scholarships to Kenyan youngsters.
For more than two decades Camphill has provided care and support for adults with learning disabilities.
The Langalanga Scholarship Fund was established in 1999 to provide scholarships to children moving from primary to secondary school around the Kenyan town of Gilgil.
The safari park’s Jamie Muir said: “We were really pleased with the turnout and the superb amount raised for such good causes.
“On the night it was a terrific party atmosphere and by popular demand we are seriously looking at adding this to our fundraising activity calendar.”
