Eagles tribute act set to fly in for top Stirling gig

TOMORROW, (Thursday), Eagles tribute band “Talon” will be appearing at the Albert Halls.

They’ve played in Stirling a number of times over the last decade and it’s been a few years since I’ve seen them, but they are definitely one of the best tribute bands touring today.

Talon promise to faithfully recreate the cool sounds of the hot summer of 1976 when the only thing that seemed to be playing on the radio was “Hotel California”.

Although the band members are all from the Midlands, they capture perfectly the unique Eagles sound, faithfully recreating the vocals, guitars and percussion that made the Eagles one of the most popular rock bands ever.

They feature all of the best known Eagles classics, along with the big solo hits from Don Henley, Glenn Frey and Joe Walsh. They’ve crafted their sound over the last decade and now offer an excellent recreation of the complex melodies and superb vocal harmonies that made the Eagles one of the world’s most popular groups. Songs such as Tequila Sunrise, Lyin Eyes and Take It Easy will all feature in the concert.

Tickets, priced £16, from the box office on 01786 473544.
