Sick pair steal poppy tin cash

A SICK thief made off with a poppy collection tin from a shop in Bannockburn.

The theft, branded “despicable” by police, took place at the Spar store in Main Street between 10.30am and 1.30pm on Monday, November 3.

Officers are keen to trace a man and a woman spotted acting suspiciously in the shop around the time of the theft.

The man is described as being in his late 30s, scruffy and slim. He was wearing a tammy, a blue rain-jacket, dark trousers and dark shoes. The woman was said to be in her late 40s, stocky and had fair, curly hair past her shoulders. She was wearing a white jacket, dark trousers and dark shoes.
