A 16-year-old girl was assaulted and robbed in the street earlier this week.
The girl was walking on Glasgow Road, Dennyloanhead, at 9.30pm, on Tuesday when she was attacked. She then had her mobile phone and a small amount of cash stolen.
Three male suspects are being sought by the police in connection with the incident.
They are all thought to be around 18-years-old and all were wearing white trainers and hooded tops.
One is described as being 6ft tall and wearing a top which had a dark grey striped pattern on it and light blue jeans. The second is described as 5ft 5in tall wearing dark tracksuit bottoms and the third was also 5ft 5in tall with blue tracksuit bottoms with three stripes on the side.
Detective Sergeant Kevin Carr, of Falkirk CID, said: “The girl was struck from behind and fell to the ground sustaining a minor injury.
“She then had the phone and money stolen. It is fortunate she was not more seriously hurt as a result of the incident and we are obviously extremely keen to trace those responsible or anyone who knows who they might be.”
