Council staff lottery pays out £4000

LOCAL authority staff from Forth Valley handed out more than £4000 to organisations through their payroll lottery scheme.

The Clackmannanshire, Falkirk, Stirling Local Authority (CFSLA) Payroll Lottery committee handed out funds for new equipment to Alva Swifts Youth FC, 7th Stirlingshire Scout Group, Clackmannanshire Guide Association, St Ninians Playgroup and the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme. The equipment ranges from footballs to PCs.

There were also mdonations to Stirling Carers, British Red Cross and CHAS.

Application forms for staff support, equipment requests from charities and community groups and application to join the lottery (with monthly prizes of £2000) are available from lottery_russell@hotmail.com.
