WALKERS will search for signs of the history of the Ochils on Saturday.
C-N-Do Scotland will lead a responsible access campaign walk and talk at Loss and Ashentrool Hills from 10am to 2pm on Saturday.
The walkers will explore the hills for signs of previous habitation and land use while also learning about responsible countryside access.
Taking part in this event is free but places should be booked by e-mailing admin@cndoscotland.com or by calling 01786 445703.
The event is part of Scottish Natural Heritage’s Scottish outdoor access festival.
Kirstin Guthrie of SNH said: “This year’s theme, Leave no Trace is all about people adopting smart, simple principles and techniques such as leaving no litter, using stoves rather than fires to cook and proper disposal of human waste.
“We can all do our bit for nature and for each other’s enjoyment when we visit Scotland’s wonderful woodlands, mountains and moorlands as well as our beaches, rivers and lochs.”
The programme for the full festival, which runs until July 22, is available online at www.outdooraccess-scotland.com.
