Awards for hotel group

AURORA Hotels and Resorts came up trumps in Scottish hotel awards.

At the Scottish Hotel Awards the group won the rising star hotel business and visionary business of the year categories. Glenbervie House Hotel won wedding hotel of the year and Airth Castle won the sales team performance award.

At the Scottish Hotel of the Year Awards Airth and Glenbervie triumphed in the rising star hotel award (large and small category).

Airth Castle was spa hotel of the year and Glenbervie the rising star wedding venue.

Company boss Steven McLeod was a runner-up in the hotelier of the year category, Airth Castle was runner-up in the business and wedding hotel categories and Aurora Hotels was runner-up in hotel group of the year.

Mr McLeod (33), who was born in Stirling, said: “These awards reflect the rapid progress and expansion of the group, and are a testament to the hard work of everyone involved in Aurora Hotels and Resorts.”
