RESIDENTS in and around Killearn have the chance to go that extra mile for charity this weekend – literally.
Killearn Primary will be hosting a Sport Relief Mile Challenge for budding walkers and runners keen to do their bit for the good cause.
The fun event gets underway at the school in the village at 1pm this Sunday and it will be possible to register on the day of the event itself.
All the money raised for the charity is spent by Comic Relief
to help transform the lives of poor and vulnerable people,
both at home and across some of the world’s poorest countries.
