Human remains identified

THE identity of a man whose remains were found in woods near Crianlarich last month has been confirmed by police.

He has been named as 43-year-old Victor Bell, from North Yorkshire.

Mr Bell was reported missing in July 2008.

His death is not being treated as suspicious and a report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.

The grim find was made near the A82, between Crianlarich and Tyndrum, on May 5.
