Airports set for busiest weekend

This weekend is expected to be the busiest of the year for Scotland's airports as the school holiday getaway begins.

Almost 270,000 passengers will pass through Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen airports as schools close for the summer break and families head for the sun.

But numbers are likely to be down on last year as people struggling financially opt to save cash by holidaying at home.
