Call for supermarket ombudsman

A supermarket ombudsman should be set up to sort out price wrangles between farmers and stores, MSPs have said.

It would help producers and retailers agree a fair price and would offer to adjudicate in disputed cases.

The call came from a Holyrood committee which said the Scottish Government should raise the idea with Westminster.
