MPs 'should declare interests'

MPs should follow the Scottish example by being forced to declare relevant interests when speaking in Parliament, the SNP has said.

The Nationalists tabled an amendment to the Parliamentary Standards Bill in an attempt to reform Westminster along Holyrood lines.

SNP leader in the Commons, Angus Robertson MP, said: "The Scottish Parliament has shown the way with legal sanctions that can be applied against wayward parliamentarians.
