Experts in new DNA analysis hope
Scientists are hoping to develop software which would allow them to analyse greater levels of DNA and further investigate diseases.
Experts at the University of Edinburgh are writing software which would allow scientists to look at DNA from thousands of people at once.
Currently DNA is decoded by looking at each person's individual sample on a glass micro chip, but this means that studying genetic profiles from thousands of samples is almost impossible on a standard computer.
