Community wardens attacked on duty

Two community wardens have been violently attacked by a masked knifeman while on duty, police said.

The workers were set upon as they attended a derelict school building in Castlemilk, Glasgow.

Police said the victims, aged 54 and 59, were targeted outside the former St Fillan's primary in Machrie Drive shortly after midnight on Sunday morning.
