Parties clash on devolution survey

Political leaders have clashed over Scotland's future.

The SNP claimed poll figures showed growing support for full independence while Labour claimed most Scots wanted to remain part of Britain.

The clashes came ahead of the Queen's visit to Holyrood exactly 10 years after she opened the new Parliament on the day it received full legislation powers. Five years later, she opened the new Scottish Parliament building, completed late and over budget at £414 million.
