Shooting: New witnesses found

Police investigating the shooting of a man outside his home have traced new witnesses after returning to the scene one week later.

Douglas Downing, 39, was blasted with a shotgun in the early hours of Wednesday, June 24 as he went into his house in Edinburgh's Paisley Drive. He is now out of hospital.

A team of police officers went back to the area overnight to talk to motorists and passers-by about the incident.
