Dinner lady hurt as ceiling falls

A dinner lady was injured when part of a school kitchen ceiling collapsed, it has emerged.

Pauline McEwan was hit by falling debris at Glendinning Terrace Primary in Galashiels, in the Scottish Borders.

She received hospital treatment for a head wound following Monday's incident and is now back at home. An investigation is under way.
