Probe after man shot in street

Detectives are investigating an attempted murder after a young man was shot in a "targeted" attack.

The 24-year-old victim was on Inverleith Street at the Rigby Street junction in Glasgow's east end when he heard a loud bang and felt a pain in his back.

Realising he had been injured, he made his own way to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he is in a stable condition.
