JAMIE Murray was in doubles action in Zagreb earlier this week but there was to be an early exit.
Partnering fellow Brit Jonathan Marray, the duo unfortunately narrowly lost out to Michael Kohlmann and Alexander Peya at the PBZ indoor tournament in Croatia. The German/Austrian combo won through 2-6 7-6 10-7.
While brother Andy’s exploits at the Australian Open last month have been hitting the headlines recently, Jamie has had a busy schedule himself since the turn of the year.
Again with Marray, he first hit South America in January where they reached the semi-finals of the Prime Cup event in Brazil.
They followed this up, however, with a great Challenger title win in the Abierto de Salinas in Ecuador before heading to Colombia towards the end of the month where they lost out in the quarter-finals at Bucaramanga.
