STIRLING County Cricket Club’s annual Junior Awards took place last Friday at the New Williamfield Pavilion.

Coaching Convenor Raymond Bond welcomed the gathering and paid tribute to the juniors who had a successful season despite the wet summer. A record number of eight youngsters under 15 years-old: Owen Sutcliffe, Harry Cordner John Devine, Michael Tierney, Akram Shakoor, Jared Kerr, George Smith and Alasdair Wildman made the breakthrough to the county 2nd and 3rd XIs while two under -17s Seth Edwards and Matthew Tweedie played for the County 1st XI.

All juniors present were awarded with certificates and badges.
