STIRLING County will begin outdoor practices at their New Williamfield ground on Tuesday at 6.30pm.
The SNCL Division One side have again secured the services of Pakistan professional Kabir Khan, who is currently coaching minnows Afghanistan in the World Cup qualifiers in South Africa.
He will l be at Stirling for the first league game of the season on Saturday, May 2, at home to Stoneywood-Dyce.
Joining Kabir as overseas amateur is New Zealand youngster Tim Yeadon.
Yeadon (20) is a left-arm slow bowler but hit the record books in the Rugby and Districts Twenty20 Cricket League last season at Guilsborough with his batting. He smashed an incredible 180 not out against Oakfield B at Long Lawford in Rugby then followed it up with an astonishing 213 not out against Newbold B.
His first effort in reaching his 180 saw him hit 12 fours and 13 sixes. He then dwarfed that knock by smashing 18 fours and 17 sixes to go past his double ton.
St Modans will be competing in Strathmore and Perthshire Union Division One, bolstered by South African professional Craig Matthew. Their first game is at home against Dalnacraig on May 2.
Training at Bluebellwood is on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6.30pm.
New players are always welcome at both clubs.
