STIRLING County junior cricketers start the new season next week at New Williamfield.
Net practice and coaching sessions will be held on Mondays throughout the summer from 6.15pm to 8.30pm and starts on Monday, May 4 with a full scale session for under 15s, under 13s and Kwik Cricket for the under 11s.
There will also be Kwik Cricket beginner sessions for primary school boys and girls on Saturdays from 10am-noon starting on Saturday, May 9.
Stirling County will be taking part in the Forth Valley Kwik Cricket festival at the Clackmannan County Ground on Sunday, May 3, the Stirling team will be selected from the squad who have been having indoor training during the winter under the Ogilvie junior cricket coaching scheme.
Thanks to the Stirling County Cricket Development Trust, introductory cricket sessions have been taking place in local primary schools over the past few weeks and Stirling County will be looking forward to an increase in junior numbers at their beginners classes this summer.
