WOMEN’S shinty breaks new ground with a day of cup matches at Stirling University on Sunday, June 7.

Semi-finals of the sport’s top knockout competition, the Valerie Fraser Camanachd Cup, will be played alongside the quarter-finals of the Caledonian Canal Challenge Cup for Division Two teams.

The ties will feature all the players from the successful Scotland international squad.

Match schedule is: Valerie Fraser Camanachd Cup Semi-Finals – Glasgow Mid-Argyll v Glengarry (1.30pm, pitch one); Forth v Tir Conaill Harps (3pm, pitch one).

Caledonian Canal Challenge Cup Quarter-finals – Badenoch & Strathspey v Linlithgow (noon, pitch one); Lochaber v Strathglass (noon, pitch two); Cowal & Bute v Glasgow Mid-Argyll B (1.30pm, pitch two); Aberdeen Uni v Dunadd (3pm, pitch two).
