ANDY Murray rounded off a great week with his seventh Masters title win in Cincinnati on Sunday.
Murray, who won in Ohio in 2008, beat Novak Djokovic in the final. The world number one had to retire with a shoulder injury when Murray was leading 6-4, 3-0.
The British number one had picked up an early service break and, despite being pegged back at 3-3, dug in to take the opening set.
By that stage Djokovic was toiling and the Serb eventually had to call it quits as Murray raced away in the second set.
The win in Cincinnati could not have come at a better time for Murray, just in time for the US Open which gets underway next week.
