CALLANDER Tae kwon-do Club had a successful day at the recentl TTA National team championships in Coatbrige.
The club came home with 12 golds, three silver and three bronze medals as well as the Best Team Spirit Award.
In the children's category, members took part in 14 events winning nine gold, two silver and three bronze.
First golds went to Rory Sneddon and Daniel Hesp while Liam Ferguson, Jisin Joseph and Lewis Witherspoon all took bronzes.
Gary Hamilton from Stirling won gold in only his second competition in sparring and sisters Naomi and Tegan O'May both won gold medals with Tegan coming out top in a close contest with team mate Elisha Shaw who won silver in her first ever competition.
Elisha’s sister Rebecca also did well in her first competition to win silver.
Other golds went to John-Jo Paterson, Jamie Thomson, Liam Muir and Laura Macdougall while the three-man Coloured belt team of Daniel Mallin, Martin William Ferguson and Kenny McQuaide all went home happy with their trophies.
