AT last Sunday’s Central Association Strathcarron triples tournament at Stirling IBC, Dunblane (R McNeil) were the winners with nine points plus 26 shots.

Runners up were Doune Castle (D Armstrong) with nine points and eight shots. £147 was raised for Strathcarron Hospice.

FINAL BERTH

STIRLING Indoor’s John Carroll has reached the final of the Central Scotland Senior Singles. He takes on John Holmes (East Loth-ian) on Saturday at the Perth stadium.

PATERSON TROPHY

IN last Wednesday’s annual match for the Archie Paterson Trophy, Stirling indoor sen-ior gents defeated the ladies 75-49.

Scores (gents skips first): T Findlay 17, S Neave 10; J Bingham 16, A Guthrie 10; J Masterson 18, H McKillop 4; W Glen 14, N Palmer 9; D Craig 10, M Monteith 16.
