STIRLING indoor bowlers returned to Scottish League action last Saturday and turned on the style against their visitors from Tweedbank IBC.

Stirling led from start to finish and eased to victory by 30 shots. They finished with three winning rinks.

Charlie Gibson, Dougie Kerr, Jason Williams and Bryan Stillie won 29-16 against A White, while David McEwan sen., James Brown, Stuart Dalrymple and Jim Flannagan won 21-12 over S White.

David Stewart, Billy Guy, David Mathieson and Danny McCormick finished 27-16 ahead of R Crawford, while Ian Gillies, Brian McLaughlin, Gary Malcolmson and Sandy Deans lost 17-20 to N McNally. Totals: Stirling 94, Tweedbank 64.

LADIES

STIRLING’S indoor ladies were also on winning form last Saturday when they defeated Cumbernauld by 24 shots. Scores: N Palmer 20, A Cairnie 18; A Feaks 27, S Lowe 12; J Watson 16, M Wentray 21; M Falconer 22, J Ross 10. Totals: Stirling 85, Cumbernauld 61
