FORTH THISTLE 1

SEAFORTH HIGHLANDERS 4

FORTH gave up home advantage as Throsk Park was under water and went to the Jack Kane Centre in Edinburgh, where the park was perfect.

Forth came close straight after kick-off when John Laird made his way into the box but his low drive was turned round the post.

Forth went ahead in the 10th minute when Graeme Liddell beat the offside to run on and score.

Ten minutes into the second half Seaforth got level when a ball squared into the box found an unmarked player to put it away. In the 65th minute Seaforth went in front when a cross found a player to nod home.

Forth pushed hard to pull level, with Gav Taylor making the keeper dive full-stretch to keep out his effort.

Seaforth went two up in the 80th minute when a ball played into the box was going wide but hit off Disco Wilson into the net. Forth continued to pushed forward but a bad pass back from Andy Coulter found a Seaforth player who beat keeper Croc.
