Own goal gives Albion East Fife win

East Fife 0

Stirling Albion 1

A BLUNDER by East Fife player Kevin Fotheringham gave Stirling Albion their latest win.

The error came just minutes before the end of the first half. Albion were awarded a free kick, which was taken by Stuart Devine. East Fifer Fotheringham tried to get a head to the ball and ended up knocking it into his own net.

But less than 10 minutes earlier Stirling could have had a goal when David McKenna's strike was headed off the line by Greg McDonald.

There were a couple of more chances, with Martin Grehan's best shot rattling the post towards the end of the match.
