ALL four Stirling Albion youth teams were back in action on Sunday.
The under-13s played a friendly against a younger Falkirk team at Forthbank and two goals from Thomas Lowe plus a Scott McLay strike gave them a 3-3 draw.
The under-15s met SPL opposition on Sunday when they took on Motherwell in a friendly at Forthbank. They were put to the sword by the powerful and useful North Lanarkshire team.
The team concludes its 2008 fixtures with a friendly against Milton tonight (Friday) at Forthbank at 7pm.
The under-17s visited an Alloa team on top form on Sunday.
Alloa were very direct and scored three goals with over-the-top through balls which were finished in clinical style by their fast front men. The fourth goal followed a bad defensive error.
In the second half Stirling created a number of half-chances but failed to find the net, although they did not concede any further goals.
On a positive note leg break victim Danny Ashe made a welcome return to the team, having made a speedy recovery from his injury in August.
At under-19 level there was a long journey north to play Elgin on Sunday. In the middle of a mid-season slump the team managed a 1-1 draw to end a run of recent defeats. They play Arbroath tomorrow (Saturday) on the astro at Forthbank with a 2pm kick-off.
