Albion in stunning win at Stranraer

STIRLING Albion shocked fans by pulling off a dramatic eight goal win at Stranraer.

The Reds got off to a strong start, with Chris Hamilton driving home the opener. However, just before half time, the home side returned the favour, the goal coming courtesy of Michael Mullen.

In the second half, Albion found themselves on the right side of a 4-1 scoreline, thanks to an own goal by James McKinstry and two Stirling strikes.

It seemed as though Albion was totally in their stride, as Martin Grehan and David McKenna scored another two for the visitors. However Stranraer didn't give up, as Stephen McConalogue pulled one back.

The final two goals of the game from John O'Neil and Martin Grehan getting his second of the match, ending possibly Albion's best match of the season.
