STIRLING Albion U15’s James Bremner had a derby match against Alloa on Sunday that he will not forget in a hurry.
Introduced as a sub in the third period with the game sitting at 1-1, James delivered a cross into the box.
The ball took a wicked bounce over the head of the Alloa keeper and with the help of Scott Jarvie it ended up in the net to give Stirling a very late lead.
Moments later, as he shielded the ball out of play, an opponent's push saw him tumble over and break his wrist.
Sean Johnston had scored to give Stirling the early lead.
The team lost 6-0 to Queens Park in the Irn Bru League Cup.
The U19s beat Dunfermline 3-2 last Friday at Forthbank in the League Cup.
First team squad players Liam Corr and Johnnie Boyle played in the match but it was Ross McEwan who got a hat-trick.
They have six points from a possible nine and have got themselves back into contention for qualifying from the section.
There are no youth team games on the Easter weekend.
