IN the Festival Trophy Open competition played over the Stirling course last Saturday, winner of the silverware for the best scratch score was Stir-ling’s Alison Davidson with a gross score of 77.

THE Spring Meeting at Stirling on Saturday had to be abandoned around lunchtime, as the course became unplayable due to the constant rainfall. This competition will now be held on Saturday, June 6. Results from this competition, together with the Autumn Meeting on August, 29 will decide the winner of the Infirmary Cup.

THE first Wednesday Medal of the season at Stirling saw 147 players take part. With the weather remaining fine, there was no change to the scratch score of 71.
