Teeing off for the new season at Dunblane

THE 2009 season will start at Dunblane New GC on Saturday, March 21 with the traditional Captain v Vice Captain Shotgun Foursomes with one start at 8am for 8.30 and the second start at 12.30 for 1pm.

The entry lists are now available on the noticeboard in the gents’ locker room. If you do not have a partner there is a list available for you to enter your name and, if at all possible, a partnership will be arranged.

The opening medal of the season will be for the Millennium Medal on Saturday, March 28.

The entry books for the various KO competitions, gents’ foursomes, mixed foursomes, family foursomes and the Louis Pope Memorial Trophy will be available from Monday, March 16 with the final entry date Easter Monday, April 13. Entry fee £5 per competition.

The Junior AGM will be held on Sunday, March 8 at 2.30pm. It is hoped to run a “fun” competition prior to the AGM with tee off from 10am. All juniors should have received details with their fixture book for the new season.
