Stirling make the cut for touch rugby

STIRLING is well represented following the announcement of the Scottish Touch Rugby international training squads.

Fourteen Stirling players have been selected in the various categories. They are Men’s Open – Stuart Imrie, Larry Irwin, Gregor MacGregor and Simon Trevis-Smith. Women’s Open – Karen Johnson. Men’s Over 30s – Euan Kerr, Colin Jardine, Gordon Kerr and Phil Leeks. Women’s Over 30s – Yvonne Jardine and Jill Dickson. Men’s Over 35s – Stuart Smith, Fraser Adair and Jon Creasy.

The players will now be training in preparation for next year’s major competitions.

Stirling Touch Rugby Club’s winter training sessions will be carrying on until March at Wallace High School on Wednesday nights between 7pm and 8.30pm.
