U18s to face Fifers

STIRLING County Under 18’s scheduled fixture against George Watson’s school has had to be postponed due to weather and an increasing backlog of fixtures for the school side who are still involved in the National School Cup competition.

County are scheduled to face Dunfermline in a Caledonia League match this Saturday but will be without their district representative players at Under 17 and Under 18 level as Caledonia training is planned.

Nevertheless the match will open up opportunities for some fringe players and younger players from last season’s Under 16’s to stake a claim for consideration in the future.
