SATURDAY'S league fixture between Endrick and Strathclyde Police became yet another weather victim when the Lochinch pitch was deemed to be too wet for play.
A new date will now have to be found somewhere in the already overcrowded calendar of the two clubs.
This week Endrick hope for better luck – weatherwise and otherwise – when they meet Cumbernauld in a league match at Fintry.
When the sides met two weeks ago at Cumbernauld Endrick lost 17-0 in a match in which they played to form only occasionally.
The players feel that they are capable of much more than they showed in that match and are pleased to have an early chance to put matters right.
It is always a spicy encounter and should be well worth watching.
The match is scheduled to start at 3pm but, in view of another attraction on TV on Saturday afternoon, this could be changed and spectators should check on the kick-off time.
Endrick 2nds are also at home to a Cumbernauld side in a league fixture on Saturday.
