STIRLING rugby fans may have seen some international stars of the future at Bridgehaugh on Sunday.
If they did, then the future for Scottish rugby is bright because Scotland under-18s trounced the Boys Clubs of Wales by a 57-3 margin.
Five Stirling County players were in the Scottish starting line-up and three of them were among the try scorers.
They were stand-off Stuart Edwards (son of Henry Edwards), who also kicked six conversions and was named the Martin Currie man of the match, full-back Glen Bryce and scrum-half Sean Kennedy.
The other County players who featured in the win were centre Danny Gilmour, who has already broken through to the County 1st XV this season, and back row forward Robbie Boswell.
Next test for the Scots under-18s comes in the East Midlands this Sunday at noon when they play the Leicester Tigers youths, the top Academy side in England.
